ALFA ROMEO STELVIO – VEHICLE RECALL AND BREAKDOWNS

  • Alfa Stelvio (2017) – Problem description: Brake fluid and clutch fluid contain mineral oil and as a consequence can damage certain components of the brake system and clutch. As a result, braking and clutch systems can fail. The recall applies to vehicles manufactured between November and December 2017.
  • Alfa Stelvio (2016-2018) – Problem description: Water can enter the vehicle’s electrical equipment. As a result, various electrical functions may fail. The recall affects vehicles manufactured in the period from December 2016 to May 2018.
  • Alfa Romeo Stelvio (2017 – 2018) – Problem description: A mismatched generator cable can be damaged as a result of contact with the elements of the exhaust gas recirculation system. This can cause a short circuit and, in the worst case, a fire in the engine compartment. The Alfa Stelvio models to which this recall applies were produced in the period from 18 January 2017 to 18 September 2018.
  • Alfa Stelvio (2016-2018) – Problem description: The elements of the engine cooling system can be detached. This can compromise driving safety. Alfa Stelvio models affected by this recall were produced in the period from October 10, 2016 to September 7, 2018.
  • Alfa Stelvio (2018 – 2019) – Problem description: Seat guides may be inadequate and seats may be misplaced. As a result, the seats could become detached in motion, increasing the risk of an accident. The Alfa Stelvio models affected by this withdrawal were produced in the period from November 14, 2018 to February 7, 2019.
